About the position
Responsibilities
• Assist in the administration of the DFPI Grant Program and related initiatives.
• Review, write, edit, and analyze grant reports.
• Support research and analyze grant impacts, trends, and program metrics.
• Provide timely and professional customer service to grantees and program stakeholders.
• Assist with general administrative tasks.
• Perform other job-related duties as required.
Requirements
• Must be a college student attending classes during the regular term at an accredited college or university.
• Enrolled in at least six-semester units or nine quarter units for undergraduate students; four-semester units or six quarter units for graduate students.
• Declared major must match the major(s) listed in the job posting, such as Public Administration, Economics, Finance, Political Science, or a related field.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Experience in conducting thorough research and analyzing data.
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
