We're seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Guest Service Support Expert to join our team at Gaylord Hotels. As a key member of our food and beverage operations, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional support to our guests and colleagues alike. Whether it's setting tables, assisting the kitchen, or cleaning work areas and replenishing supplies, you'll be the backbone of our operations, ensuring that every transaction feels like part of the experience.Key Responsibilities
As a Guest Service Support Expert, your key responsibilities will include:- Providing exceptional support to guests and colleagues, ensuring a seamless dining experience
- Setting tables, assisting the kitchen, and cleaning work areas and replenishing supplies
- Managing the menu, including reading and visually verifying information
- Working on your feet for extended periods, moving around the restaurant, and handling objects weighing up to 25 pounds without assistance and 50 pounds with assistance
- Providing a safe and welcoming environment for guests and colleagues, adhering to company policies and procedures
- Upholding quality standards and ensuring that your uniform, personal appearance, and communications are professional
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:- A high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent
- No related work experience, although previous experience in a food and beverage environment is preferred
- No supervisory experience
- No license or certification required
