Job Overview: Hotel Revenue & Performance Analyst - Supplier Management & Delivery
We're on the lookout for a talented Hotel Revenue & Performance Analyst to join our Supplier Management & Delivery team in the United States. As a full-time professional in this role, you'll be at the forefront of analyzing and optimizing financial performance, driving data-driven recommendations, and streamlining supplier management processes. Your expertise will be crucial in preparing and analyzing financial budgets and forecasts, conducting market trend analyses, and developing insights that inform strategic business decisions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and analyze ad hoc analyses for Supplier Management & Delivery in support of supplier business reviews, ensuring timely and actionable insights.
- Conduct comprehensive preferred supplier analyses to evaluate performance, identify opportunities for growth, and maximize earnings.
- Track and analyze supplier performance through key financial metrics, providing critical insights for decision-making and optimization.
- Create, examine, and distribute internal reports on supplier performance and contract effectiveness, driving transparency and informed decision-making.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify data reporting gaps and contribute to projects that develop new tools or dashboards to meet evolving business needs.
- Analyze financial performance against industry benchmarks and historical trends, demonstrating market share and trending analysis.
- Develop and maintain sophisticated dashboards and reports to track key performance indicators (KPIs) related to supplier performance, market trends, and business objectives.
- Drive data-driven recommendations that enhance profitability and streamline supplier management processes, contributing to the company's overall success.
About You: Essential Qualifications and Skills
To excel in this role, you should possess:
- Extensive experience as a Business Analyst in the travel industry, ideally within a multi-unit hotel collection, hotel revenue performance group, or housing bureau.
- A proven ability to develop and present trending and market share analyses, communicating complex data insights effectively.
- Proficiency in MS Excel, including advanced skills in pivot tables and macros.
- Basic SQL skills, with the ability to query and analyze data.
- Power BI capabilities are considered a plus, enhancing your ability to create interactive and insightful dashboards.
- Exceptional analytical and problem-solving skills, with the capacity to interpret complex data sets and provide actionable insights.
- Effective organizational and time management skills, with a solid ability to manage multiple tasks, timetables, and deadlines.
- Flexibility and adaptability, with a proven ability to conform to shifting priorities, demands, and timelines.
- A Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- Excellent communication skills, with the ability to present findings and insights to senior leadership.

The salary range for this position in the US is between $50,000 and $70,000, depending on your skills, qualifications, experience, and geographical location.
