Key Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support to the team, including preparing, submitting, and reviewing expense reports in compliance with Microsoft policy.
  • Assist with event logistics, travel arrangements, and other ad-hoc administrative tasks, ensuring seamless execution of meetings and events.
  • Proactively provide organizational and staffing support to the team, including space management, resource management, procurement, headcount management, new hire onboarding, and event management.
  • Plan and coordinate employee appreciation events, team all-hands meetings, and off-sites, ensuring a positive and engaging experience for team members.
  • Maintain group data with confidentiality and integrity, exercising discretion when making decisions within your area of responsibility.
  • Procure goods and services, including computer hardware, office supplies, reference materials, and office requisitions, ensuring timely and cost-effective delivery.
  • Manage monikers and support new employee setup, including office, hardware, and other necessary arrangements.
  • Schedule support where required, ensuring prompt resolution of issues and minimal disruption to team operations.
  • Perform additional day-to-day administrative tasks as needed, demonstrating flexibility and adaptability in a fast-paced environment.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:

  • A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, HR, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or Sociology.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively at the Microsoft executive level.
  • The ability to prioritize and handle multiple tasks simultaneously in a global and cross-hierarchical team environment.
  • A minimum of 2+ years of administrative, business support, or customer service experience in an environment with an emphasis on planning meetings/events, travel management, and basic coordination work.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • An Associate's certification in a relevant field, such as Business Administration, HR, Marketing, Communications, Psychology, or Sociology.
