Job Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst to join our team in Virginia, USA. As a Senior Threat Intelligence Analyst, you will play a critical role in delivering actionable intelligence to clients' security or operational environments to drive navigation and specific action. You will also serve as a conductor to Mandiant's extensive network of cybersecurity, threat intelligence, and information operations experts.

Key Responsibilities

  • Connect knowledge to foster a comprehensive understanding of tracked threat activity
  • Perform strategic, operational, and functional research and analysis of adversarial cyber threats and groups
  • Assess current and emerging tools and best practices for tracking advanced threats, tactics, techniques, and procedures (TTPs) of attackers' motivations, industry, and threat trends
  • Design and deliver briefings and reports to clients' executives, security teams, or individual practitioners
  • Present tactical and strategic intelligence about threat groups, the tactics they use, and the motivations driving their activity, and convey the significance of findings to various audiences

Essential Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
  • At least 2 years of experience in a digital threat intelligence role in a client-facing environment
  • Experience in CTI techniques and applications in one of the functional areas: Identify, Secure, Respond, or Recover
  • Experience in stakeholder management, driving, presenting to, and reporting to various audiences, including executives
  • US Government Top Secret/Sensitive Compartmented Information clearance with polygraph

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in the utilization, handling, and analysis of tactical (technical) CTI within a functional environment, supporting monitoring, detection, and response capabilities
  • Understanding of CTI techniques and application concepts, with the ability to advise and guide new CTI colleagues
  • Ability to relate raw intelligence from sensors, incident response engagement, and other sources into reports and briefings
  • Ability to present written or verbal information to technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to take complex, ambiguous topics, assemble methodology, and influence stakeholders
  • Excellent team player with the ability to work in fast-paced and constantly evolving environments
