Job Summary
We're seeking a highly skilled and motivated Part-Time Customer Support Specialist to join our team remotely. As a Customer Care Professional, you'll be responsible for providing exceptional client experiences, resolving customer inquiries, and promoting American Express products and services. If you have a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, excellent communication skills, and a strong work ethic, we encourage you to apply.
Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to inbound calls from business owners and executives, understanding their needs, and recommending the right American Express Small Business Services (SBS) products
- Deliver high levels of product and service knowledge to communicate product features, benefits, and other elements of American Express Independent Business Services
- Continuously develop key selling skills, including building rapport, understanding client needs, resolving complaints, and closing sales
- Provide exceptional client care by answering inquiries about accounts in a fast-paced, organized client care environment
- Document important account information according to established policies and procedures
- Maintain honesty and comply with all administrative and consistent rules connected with adjusting and sales practices
Essential Qualifications:
- At least two years of customer support experience, with a focus on building client loyalty through excellent listening, consultative relationship building, and strong written and verbal communication
- Proven success in a customer care and sales environment (two years+)
- Ability to work in a speed-measurement environment with the capability to multitask and route calls in an online environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required; education benefits available
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a remote work environment
- Familiarity with American Express products and services
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
- Strong organizational and time management skills
