About the Role
As a Remote Data Entry Specialist, you will be part of the Management - South East Practice team, which supports internal stakeholders in the company's financial reporting. You will work closely with the Lease Accounting Team, which specializes in accounting and financial reporting for real estate, assets, and leases. Your primary responsibilities will include ensuring compliance with accounting standards, preparing loan book entries, and managing real estate operating expenses. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to various projects, including Tririga (lease management/accounting software) changes, S4/Hana implementation, and other corporate initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a team of data entry specialists to ensure compliance with accounting standards related to real estate leases, asset leases, and consolidated leases, such as ASC 842 or IFRS.
- Prepare and review loan book entries for global transactions, including collections and adjustments.
- Prepare account balances and explanations of the reasons for changes associated with lease accounts and quarterly closings, as well as 10Q/K ASC 842 reports.
- Lead the quarterly SOX audit team to ensure the accuracy and completeness of all real estate, asset, and loan transactions.
- Manage the company's quarterly CRE coverage, including totals, margins, exposure F/S, reasons for change analysis, and volatility.
- Improve efficiency through continuous monitoring and improvement of existing processes and maintain an up-to-date understanding of any changes in loan accounting standards.
- Contribute to various projects, including Tririga (lease management/accounting software) changes, S4/Hana implementation, and other corporate initiatives.
- Manage, coach, and develop the team by fostering a collaborative and efficient work environment.
- Work closely with various teams, including finance, real estate, lease administration, and legal, to understand the meaning of accounting records and resolve any accounting issues or complaints.
Essential Qualifications
- 1-4 years of relevant experience in accounting; minimum of 3 years of accounting experience and 2 years of management experience.
- Must-have analytical skills combined with strong business and financial skills.
- Demonstrated understanding of internal controls, control environment, and accounting systems (SAP preferred).
- A good and strong leader and an effective manager, who leads by example and will lead different groups to achieve research objectives and participate in project research and activities.
- Strong relationship-building skills and highly professional "customer service orientation."
- Must be able to interact with and influence all levels of management within and outside the management context.
- Must be a good team player with strong interpersonal skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) or Certified Management Accountant (CMA) designation.
- Experience with lease accounting software, such as Tririga.
- Knowledge of SAP or other accounting systems.
- Experience with financial reporting and analysis.
- Strong understanding of internal controls and risk management.
