About the Role
As a Disney Video Editor, you will play a critical role in supporting the production needs of our remote broadcasts. You will be responsible for painting and shading cameras, as well as monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining the technical operations of our remote events. This is a unique opportunity to work with a talented team and contribute to the success of high-profile events.
Key Responsibilities
- Adjust video levels, black/white balance, and color balance between all cameras to ensure high-quality video output
 - Troubleshoot and resolve video issues, including camera, cabling, and lens problems
 - Collaborate with the video team to set up screens for talent and the show
 - Manage and coordinate remote compound video, fiber link, and source lists
 - Develop and implement workflows with the help of Operations and Creation partners
 - Provide technical expertise in the setup and integration of video systems, including transmission trucks, fly packs, and fiber units
 - Read and work with waveform/vectorscope (designs - SDI and IP, HD, UHD, and HDR)
 - Manage camera look and shading requirements
 - Monitor and adjust signals and screens as needed
 - Set up, operate, and troubleshoot video equipment on location as required
 
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- At least 2 years of experience in remote production operations at the network level in a video role
 - Strong knowledge of live production equipment and operations
 - Proficiency in reading and working with waveform/vectorscope (designs - SDI and IP, HD, UHD, and HDR)
 - Ability to manage camera look and shading requirements
 - Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills with excellent technical intuition
 - Flexibility to work on weekends and holidays as required
 
Preferred Qualifications
- Strong knowledge of broadcast equipment and remote production show needs
 - Experience with fiber optic systems and cabling
