About the Role
As an Enterprise Account Executive - AMER (East) at Ashby, you will play a pivotal role in driving revenue growth by managing the full sales cycle, from pipeline generation to closing deals. You will be responsible for owning a curated list of high-propensity accounts and a geographic territory with significant market opportunity. Your primary focus will be on new logo acquisition through a balanced approach of inbound and outbound sales strategies, while also covering a select number of customer accounts for expansion and upsell opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and execute the full sales cycle for large enterprise accounts in the Eastern and Central time zones, ensuring a high level of customer engagement and satisfaction.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including C-level executives, to identify business needs and tailor solutions that meet their strategic objectives.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities through a combination of inbound and outbound sales strategies, leveraging a deep understanding of the target market and buyer personas.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Solutions Engineering, to build compelling cases for change and deliver tailored solutions that address customer-specific challenges.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date CRM records, ensuring timely follow-ups and effective pipeline management.
- Travel as needed, up to 40%, to engage with customers and prospects in person.
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- A proven track record of exceeding $1M+ quotas in a SaaS sales environment, with a strong history of closing complex deals with large organizations.
- Demonstrated ability to win highly competitive opportunities by identifying pain points and business impacts, and connecting those to strategic initiatives of the leadership team.
- Experience in selling to C-level executives and other key stakeholders, with a strong understanding of their needs and priorities.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Familiarity with Talent Acquisition and HR tools and workflows, as well as a network of Heads of Talent that can be leveraged.
- Experience working with a team-selling sales model, with a strong ability to collaborate with cross-functional teams.

- Clear Communication: Ability to ask precise questions and explain complex concepts in simple terms, eschewing business jargon.
- Strategic Thinking: Ability to guide prospects through their entire buying process, engaging the right stakeholders at the right time to create consensus for a strategic technology decision.
- Product and Industry Expertise: Ability to become a product and industry expert, creating 'Ah ha!' moments in collaboration with the Solutions Engineer to build momentum and solve customer-specific challenges.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills, with the ability to send timely and crisp follow-up emails, and maintain accurate CRM records.
- Business Acumen: Ability to help customers connect the dots between technical problems and their business impact, crafting compelling cases for change.
