The Role: Entry Level Automotive Technician
As an Entry Level Automotive Technician at Goodyear, you'll play a critical role in delivering exceptional customer service and performing basic automotive services. This is an entry-level position that requires no prior experience, and we'll provide comprehensive training to ensure your success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform basic automotive services, including oil changes, tire mounting and balancing, and preventative maintenance
- Conduct vehicle inspections and identify problems or needed repairs
- Develop skills and knowledge to perform additional automotive services, such as tire repairs and filter replacements
- Provide exceptional customer service and communicate effectively with customers
- Work collaboratively with other technicians and team members to achieve shared goals
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment, adhering to company policies and procedures
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Valid driver's license and at least 18 years of age
- Legally authorized to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship
- Ability to review, analyze, and interpret information, identify problems, and make decisions
- Commitment to learning new technologies within the rapidly changing automotive industry
- Commitment to following established safety policies and procedures
Preferred Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or GED
- Previous automotive preventative maintenance experience or formal automotive training
