Job Summary

As an Entry-Level Financial Advisor at Baystate Financial, you will play a critical role in helping our clients achieve their financial objectives. You will work closely with our experienced professionals to create customized financial plans, provide investment advice, and offer a range of financial products and services. Key Responsibilities

  • Client Acquisition & Marketing: Identify new business opportunities, build relationships with potential clients, and develop a robust pipeline of leads.
  • Discovery: Conduct in-depth interviews with clients to understand their financial goals, risk tolerance, and investment objectives.
  • Case Development & Analysis: Gather and analyze financial data, develop comprehensive financial plans, and provide recommendations to clients.
  • Financial Plan Presentation: Present financial plans to clients, address their concerns, and provide guidance on implementation.
  • Implementation: Assist clients in implementing financial recommendations, such as life insurance, savings plans, mutual funds, and other financial products.
  • Ongoing Service: Provide ongoing support and service to clients, review their financial plans, and make adjustments as needed.

Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A degree in finance, business administration, or a related analytical field is preferred.
  • Professional Experience: 2-5 years of experience in client services, insurance, investments, financial services, or a related field.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and develop comprehensive financial plans.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with clients and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Financial Planning Experience: Familiarity with financial planning principles and practices is a plus, but not required.
  • Licenses and Certifications: Relevant licenses and certifications, such as Series 7 and 66, are desirable.
