Job Description
As a Field Service Technician, you will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and repairing industrial or commercial equipment at customer locations. You’ll provide onsite diagnostics, system upgrades, and preventive maintenance, all while representing the company with professionalism and technical expertise. This position requires travel throughout the Houston metro area and occasionally outside the region.
Requirements
High school diploma or GED required (Associate’s or technical certification preferred)
2+ years of experience in field service, mechanical, or electrical work
Strong troubleshooting and mechanical aptitude
Ability to read schematics and technical diagrams
Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and work in various environments (indoors and outdoors)
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Must be authorized to work in the U.S.
Responsibilities
Install, calibrate, and maintain equipment at client sites
Troubleshoot mechanical and electronic components
Document service calls, including diagnostics, parts used, and resolutions
Provide training to customers on equipment operation and safety
Coordinate with dispatch and service teams to manage work orders
Maintain service vehicle, tools, and parts inventory
Uphold all safety protocols and customer satisfaction standards
Attend regular technical training and certification updates
