About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for participating in data warehouses across multiple databases and identifying opportunities for developing table schemas within Cyber Security. You will review and analyze data management business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, analysis, and selection of options, exercising independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables. You will also present guidelines for resolving more complex data management conditions and developing knowledge within the business data policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Participate in data warehouses across multiple databases and identify opportunities for developing table schemas within Cyber Security.
 - Review and analyze data management business, operational, or technical assignments or challenges that require research, analysis, and selection of options.
 - Exercise independent judgment to guide medium-risk deliverables and present guidelines for resolving more complex data management conditions.
 - Collaborate and consult with technology colleagues, internal partners, and stakeholders, including internal and external clients if applicable.
 - Develop and maintain a deep understanding of business data policies, procedures, and compliance requirements.
 
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following essential qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field, such as Information Technology, Information Systems, or Software Engineering.
 - 2+ years of Data Engineering experience, or equivalent validated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, or education.
 
Preferred Qualifications
While not mandatory, the following preferred qualifications will be considered a plus:
- Minimum of two years of Python programming experience, or another high-level programming language such as Java or C#.
 - Minimum of one year of Data Analysis experience in the Financial Services area, preferably.
 - Minimum of one year of Cyber Security domain exposure, with a deep understanding of cybersecurity threats and mitigation strategies.
 - Experience working with Visualization tools such as PowerBI, Tableau, Splunk, or similar.
 - Experience in building data engineering pipelines for various data sources (Databases, APIs, etc.).
