About the Role

We are looking for a detail-oriented and organized individual to fill the position of Part Time Data Entry Clerk. As a key member of our administrative team, you will be responsible for processing invoices, verifying GL coding, and performing various administrative tasks. Key Responsibilities

  • Invoicing Management: Process all incoming invoices in INFOR, ensuring accuracy and efficiency. This will involve reviewing and verifying invoice details, ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures, and maintaining accurate records.
  • GL Coding Verification: Verify GL coding, create purchase orders as needed, and route them for approval. This will require attention to detail and a strong understanding of financial procedures and protocols.
  • Document Management: Receive, stamp, and distribute incoming invoices for approval, and perform electronic and paper filing of processed invoices. This will involve maintaining organized and up-to-date filing systems, both physical and digital.
  • Administrative Support: Assist the Admin Office Manager with various duties as needed. This may include providing support with special projects, preparing reports and documents, and performing other administrative tasks as required.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Data Entry Experience: Must have experience in data entry with minimal supervision. This will involve demonstrating proficiency in data entry software and systems, as well as a strong attention to detail and accuracy.
  • 10-Key by Touch: Preference given to candidates who possess 10-key by touch skills. This will involve demonstrating speed and accuracy in data entry, as well as a strong understanding of numerical concepts and procedures.
  • Computer Literacy: Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel is required. This will involve demonstrating proficiency in a range of software applications, as well as a strong understanding of computer systems and technology.
  • Communication Skills: Good communication skills, both oral and written, with attention to detail. This will involve demonstrating strong interpersonal and communication skills, as well as a strong ability to work effectively with colleagues and stakeholders.
  • Office Equipment Familiarity: Must be familiar with various office equipment, including printers, scanners, and fax machines. This will involve demonstrating a strong understanding of office systems and technology, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new equipment and software.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Previous Experience in an Administrative Role: Preference given to candidates with previous experience in an administrative role, particularly in a recruiting or HR environment.
  • Knowledge of INFOR: Familiarity with INFOR or similar software systems is an asset. This will involve demonstrating a strong understanding of financial procedures and protocols, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and software.
  • Bookkeeping or Accounting Experience: Experience in bookkeeping or accounting is an asset, particularly in a recruiting or HR environment. This will involve demonstrating a strong understanding of financial concepts and procedures, as well as a willingness to learn and adapt to new systems and software.
