As a Project Manager, Crew Mod, you will play a critical role in driving the modernization of our Crew Resources IT systems, ensuring cross-divisional coordination, and prioritizing resources, funding, and deliverables.

Job Summary
The Project Manager for Crew Mod will be responsible for managing the full design life cycle (from scope to integration) of re-platforming the existing Crew System. This will involve moving the existing mainframe solution to a cloud-ready architecture, ensuring the seamless integration of 11 capabilities, including Scheduling, Training, Payroll, Planning, Bid/Award, Reroute, Jumpseat, Communications, Accommodations, and Legalities. The successful candidate will partner with various divisions, including IT, Finance, IFS, FOP, OCC, OAP, ODS, HR, and Corporate Security, to drive operational efficiency through new and existing tools.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the strategic roadmap and tactical plans for all crew resources technology systems, ensuring cross-divisional coordination and prioritization of resources, funding, and deliverables.
- Coach and mentor junior leaders and those aspiring to be leaders on the team.
- Analyze customer needs and work with IT to deliver business-driven solutions.
- In partnership with IT and Crew Resources departments, lead the development and implementation of Crew Resources IT modernization.
- Develop, implement, and maintain production timelines across multiple workstreams.
- Develop subject matter expertise for crew resources-related data and systems.
- Drive the execution of all processes in the product lifecycle, including product and market research, competitor analysis, planning, positioning, requirements and roadmap development, and product launch.
- Liaise with IT and Finance on IT Capital planning and prioritization, balancing short- and long-term priorities.
- Ensure effective communication and updates on roadmap planning, incorporating senior leadership and cross-divisional feedback coupled with changing business needs.
- Ensure alignment of priorities with IFS and FOP division and IT teams.
- Promote safety-conscious behaviors in all operational processes and procedures.

What You Need to Succeed
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 5+ years of relevant work experience, along with previous leadership experience.
- Strong leadership skills, presentation skills, written and oral communication skills, positive attitude, and ability to manage change successfully in a fast-paced environment.
- Strategic, dynamic, detail-oriented, and impactful mindset.
- Analytical thinker, self-starter, and quick learner.
- Prior experience managing multiple projects simultaneously, ranging from large budget initiatives to smaller end-to-end projects.
- Coaching and delivering feedback for developmental purposes.
- Proven track record of successfully working in a cross-departmental team environment, delivering results on time and on budget.
- Strong business acumen and excellent communication skills with senior management, employees, FAA Reps, union officials, vendors, and customers.
- Open to feedback from, and prioritize the needs of, a diverse set of stakeholders.
- Demonstrable experience with conflict resolution, problem-solving, and ability to communicate with tact and diplomacy.
- Ability to lead, manage, and communicate to all levels within the organization.
- Flexibility and availability to travel, as well as to perform periodic after-hours and weekend work.
- High school diploma, GED, or high school equivalency.
- At least 18 years of age and authorization to work in the United States.
