We are seeking an experienced Psychiatric Clinical Pharmacist II to join our team and contribute to our mission of providing cutting-edge pharmaceutical services. As a key member of our clinical services team, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing clinical services related to psychotropic medications, collaborating with prescribers, and contributing to plan benefit design. What You'll Do

As a Psychiatric Clinical Pharmacist II at Fortuna BMC, you will be responsible for:
  • Overseeing clinical services related to psychotropic medications and providing consultations and recommendations to prescribers when necessary.
  • Ensuring 100% dedication to the Contract.
  • Being located at Contractor's Local Facility.
  • Collaborating with our team of industry-leading professionals to develop and implement innovative pharmaceutical services.
  • Providing expert guidance and support to prescribers and other healthcare professionals on the safe and effective use of psychotropic medications.
  • Contributing to the development and implementation of plan benefit design and formulary management strategies.
  • Staying up-to-date with the latest developments in clinical pharmacy and psychotropic medications, and applying this knowledge to inform our clinical services and plan benefit design.

What You'll Bring

To be successful in this role, you will need to bring the following skills and qualifications:
  • Minimum of three (3) years of experience supporting formulary, PA, benefits design, and clinical information.
  • PharmD with a current active Pharmacist license in Maryland (or shall be acquired within 6 months of System implementation).
  • Previous experience in PRO and RETRO-DUR.
  • Knowledge of clinical Pharmacy and drug products information to support plan benefit design.
  • Specialized training in psychotropic medications. BCPP Required (Board Cert Psychiatric Pharmacy).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with prescribers, other healthcare professionals, and our team of industry-leading professionals.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and develop effective solutions.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize multiple tasks and responsibilities.
