Key Responsibilities: Driving Crew Staffing Excellence
- Collect, compile, and analyze data relevant to crew staffing and budgeting, including crew utilization and efficiency.
- Assist the Manager of Crew Staffing in developing staffing and budget plans, providing timely and accurate analyses, and collaborating with stakeholders.
- Work closely with Finance and Network Planning teams to identify and resolve obstacles related to crew efficiency, crew hotels, and operational performance.
- Support the Manager in maintaining long-term and short-term crew staffing models and plans, month-end reporting, and ad-hoc data analysis.
- Investigate root causes of staffing and credit-related variances, proposing profit-maximizing resolutions and evaluating financial implications of crew staffing projects.
- Improve budgeting and forecasting processes, collaborating with business stakeholders and developing management recommendations.
- Respond to data requests from internal customers, assist with financial and operational implications of marketing schedules, and conduct scenario analyses to identify optimal strategies.
Essential Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate
To succeed as a Senior Analyst - Crew Staffing at Frontier Airlines, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a quantitative field, such as finance, accounting, or a related discipline.
- A minimum of 3+ years of relevant experience in finance, consulting, or a related field, or a commensurate combination of graduate work and relevant experience.
- At least three years of crew planning or crew scheduling experience, including developing short-term and long-range crew staffing plans.
- High proficiency in Microsoft Office products, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to maintain composure under pressure and prioritize multiple tasks.
- Demonstrated analytical and organizational skills, with the ability to clarify ambiguous situations and identify relevant data to develop decision-support models.
