Key Responsibilities

  • Work cooperatively with fellow Support Specialists and various Teams in Technical Operations and Ground Operations to ensure the success of the organization.
  • Perform a wide range of tasks associated with aircraft maintenance, including checks, troubleshooting, upgrading, repairing, manufacturing, assembling, welding, rigging, and painting all parts of aircraft, aircraft engines, radio equipment, instruments, electrical systems, hydraulic systems, and machine tool work in connection therewith.
  • Meet physical capability requirements as listed in the job description.
  • Perform other work-related tasks as directed by management and internal and external clients.
  • Maintain accurate records of work performed and sign off to verify that work was done as instructed.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To be successful in this role, you should possess:

  • The ability to read and understand maintenance technical manuals and related documents, wire charts, blueprints, Aircraft Change Requests, special items, and log reviews.
  • Strong adherence to instructions and the ability to learn, understand, and comply with maintenance procedures, guidelines, and regulations.
  • Adequate computer skills to access and complete computer-based training modules.
  • Awareness of hazardous situations and the ability to handle emergencies as they arise.
  • The ability to work well under pressure, meeting deadlines and time constraints to perform aircraft maintenance to fulfill flight schedule requirements.
  • Effective communication skills, both written and verbal, to convey information and instructions.
  • A commitment to providing friendly service and maintaining positive relationships with all internal and external clients.

Preferred Qualifications

While not mandatory, having the following qualifications can be beneficial:

  • Previous experience in aircraft maintenance or a related field.
  • Familiarity with Boeing 737 aircraft systems and maintenance procedures.
  • Certifications or licenses related to aircraft maintenance, such as FAA certification.
