Job Overview

The Senior Manager, Learning Strategy will be responsible for designing and implementing comprehensive leadership development strategies to support the onboarding and success of new leaders within our organization. This role will work closely with our Talent Management, Learning, and HR teams to identify key development needs and create tailored solutions to address learning gaps. As a thought leader in leadership development, the successful candidate will leverage their expertise to design, maintain, and enhance enterprise-wide learning solutions that drive business impact and support the growth of our leaders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Determine learner capabilities and needs by conducting thorough analysis, reviewing job requirements, and connecting with learners and leaders to inform the development of targeted learning solutions.
  • Develop and implement content area plans that address learner needs and increase associate competence and confidence, collaborating with other Senior Managers to ensure a cohesive approach.
  • Work closely with Learning Design & Development, Technology, and Delivery teams to determine the most effective learning solutions and communicate these to business partners.
  • Create learning plans for assigned job roles based on learner needs, validating content area recommendations and ensuring effective execution of learning plans.
  • Collaborate with business partners to inform and influence decisions, addressing difficult issues and maintaining strong relationships to drive business outcomes.
  • Lead a small team, providing oversight and guidance to ensure the successful execution of learning strategies and programs.

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, the ideal candidate will possess:

  • A minimum of 2 years of work experience in a related field, with a strong preference for 10+ years of experience in leadership development, organizational development, or talent management.
  • A bachelor's degree in a related field, such as HR, I/O Psychology, or Organizational Development, with a master's degree preferred.
  • Proven experience in designing, implementing, and evaluating leadership development programs, with a strong understanding of adult learning principles and multiple development methodologies.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse stakeholders and build strong relationships.
  • Strong strategic thinking and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex data and inform decisions that drive business outcomes.
