Key Responsibilities
- Technical Vision and Leadership: Drive the technical strategy and implementation of Google Cloud solutions for the U.S. Public Sector, ensuring alignment with customer needs and industry best practices.
- Customer and Partner Collaboration: Work closely with customers, partners, and internal stakeholders to understand business requirements, translate them into actionable engineering tasks, and ensure successful project delivery.
- Technical Strategy and Execution: Lead the development and execution of technical strategies to support complex customer deployments, focusing on scalability, reliability, and security.
- Google Cloud Platform Expertise: Configure and manage GCP services such as Compute Engine, App Engine, Google Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, and Cloud SQL, staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and their applicability to the Public Sector.
- Infrastructure as Code (IaC): Develop and maintain IaC solutions using tools like Terraform, ensuring efficient and consistent infrastructure management.
- Security and Compliance: Architect and implement security best practices for Google Cloud solutions, utilizing products such as Assured Workloads, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring, and Security Command Center to ensure the highest standards of security and compliance.
- Team Leadership and Collaboration: Lead and manage a team of Cloud Engineers, fostering a culture of innovation, collaboration, and continuous learning, and ensuring alignment with the Director of Google Cloud Delivery on technical direction and project delivery.
Essential Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field.
- Experience: 15+ years of experience in cloud computing and/or software development, with 5+ years of experience delivering cloud solutions for Government customers.
- Technical Expertise: Strong understanding of Google Cloud services and technologies, including advanced knowledge of specific GCP services and products such as Kubernetes Engine, Cloud Storage, BigQuery, Dataflow, and Cloud SQL.
- Leadership and Management: Proven experience leading and managing technical teams, with excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Security Clearance: US Citizenship and security clearance eligibility.
Preferred Qualifications
- Google Cloud Professional Certification: Multiple certifications demonstrating expertise in Google Cloud technologies.
- Agile Software Development: Experience working within and managing Agile software development teams.
- Compliance and Security: Experience working with Google Cloud compliance products such as Security Command Center and Assured Workloads, and familiarity with cloud security best practices and standards.
- U.S. Federal Government Experience: Experience working with customers in the U.S. Defense and National Security space, with a U.S. Federal Government Secret or Top Secret security clearance.
- DevSecOps: Experience with DevSecOps principles and practices, and knowledge of DoD/DISA cybersecurity policies.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $180,000.00 - $225,000, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
