About the Role: Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Remote Inbound Customer Service Representative to join our team. As a key member of our customer service team, you will be responsible for handling inbound calls from medical providers, patients, and billing services, providing exceptional customer service, and resolving claims-related inquiries. Key Responsibilities:
- Respond to incoming claim calls and log data into our proprietary medical bill review system
- Provide clear explanations of benefits, services, and claims/reimbursement procedures to customers
- Interface with providers, patients, billing services, and insurance adjusters in a professional and courteous manner
- Utilize excellent verbal and written communication skills to resolve customer inquiries and concerns
- Demonstrate attention to detail and multitasking abilities in a fast-paced customer service environment
- Maintain a positive attitude and provide outstanding customer service, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction
Requirements: Essential and Preferred Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- 1-2 years of prior customer service experience, preferably in a call center or related environment
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to effectively interact with customers and stakeholders
- Strong technical aptitude and ability to learn basic medical terminology
- Ability to work independently in a quiet and professional work environment, free from distractions
- High-speed internet connection (DSL or cable modem - non-cellular - with minimum speed of 25 mbps download and 15 mbps upload)
- Weekday schedule flexibility, with availability to work between 7:00 am - 7:00 pm Central Time Zone, Monday through Friday
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience in a medical insurance or related industry
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to effectively resolve customer complaints and concerns
- Proficiency in using customer relationship management (CRM) software and other related applications
