Job Summary

We are seeking a highly qualified Junior High School Technology Teacher to teach students in grades 6-8. The successful candidate will have a strong background in technology and education, and will be able to design and deliver engaging lesson plans that meet the needs of diverse learners. Key Responsibilities

• Plan and prepare engaging lesson plans that integrate technology into the curriculum
• Teach students in grades 6-8 about technology concepts, including computer hardware, software, and programming
• Develop and implement assessments to measure student learning and progress
• Establish and maintain a positive and inclusive learning environment that promotes student engagement and motivation

• Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and developments, and incorporate these into the curriculum

Essential Qualifications

• A valid/registered Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with proper endorsement(s)
• Recent teaching experience in the subject matter (with the exception of new graduates)
• Demonstrated knowledge of curriculum, instructional methods, and current teaching techniques
• Excellent verbal and written communication and time management skills
• Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with students, families, team members, and others

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Education, or related field
• Experience with technology integration and curriculum development
• Knowledge of educational technology tools and platforms
• Experience working with diverse learners, including students with special needs
