Key Responsibilities

• Software Development: Design, develop, test, and maintain software applications using programming languages such as Java, Python, and Scala.
• Agile Methodologies: Contribute to agile teams by participating in coding, code reviews, and automated testing to ensure high-quality software delivery.
• Troubleshooting and Debugging: Identify and resolve technical issues, and collaborate with teams to improve overall system quality and reliability.
• Deployment and Monitoring: Enable the deployment, support, and monitoring of software applications across test, integration, and production environments.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you will need:

• A Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development, leading teams of engineers, and working with agile methodologies.
• Strong experience with Hadoop, Hive, Spark (core, SQL, and PySpark), and distributed environments.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, Python, or Scala.
• Experience with data warehousing concepts, financial reporting environments, and UNIX shell scripting.

Preferred Qualifications

Additionally, having the following skills and experience will be a plus:
