Job Summary
As a Receiving Clerk and Data Entry Specialist, you will play a critical role in our Purchasing Department, ensuring the accurate and efficient processing of purchase orders and receipts. If you are a motivated and detail-oriented individual with excellent communication and organizational skills, we encourage you to apply for this exciting opportunity.
Key Responsibilities
- Receive and process purchase orders based on daily and monthly receipt metrics
 - Collaborate with Project Managers to obtain updates on open orders
 - Work with the A/P Office to address pending invoices
 - Contact suppliers for information regarding purchase orders
 - Create and update open purchase orders report daily to provide visibility on the status of orders
 - Assign team responsibilities based on open purchase report
 - Update and manage receiving and open purchase order metric spreadsheet
 - Send monthly reports to accounting directors for office performance
 - Update and manage performance improvement log
 - Reconcile unvouchered receipts
 
Requirements and Qualifications
Education
- Associate's degree required; Bachelor's degree preferred
 
Experience
- Two to five years of experience in receiving or purchasing
 
Skills and Competencies
- Microsoft Dynamics SL experience is a plus
 - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
 - Strong organizational and follow-up skills required
 - Detail-oriented and highly self-motivated
 - Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively
 
Working Conditions and Requirements
- Full-time, local position
 - Ability to work in a safe and professional environment, complying with all regulatory requirements, including OSHA, State, and Federal regulations

Compensation and Benefits
