The Role: Part-Time Dance Instructor/Choreographer

As a Part-Time Dance Instructor/Choreographer with DivaDance, you'll be the driving force behind our high-energy classes, bringing our signature blend of style, enthusiasm, and expertise to the forefront. Your role will involve:

• Teaching 1-2 classes per week, primarily in the evenings and possibly on weekends, at our studios in Mansfield and Grand Prairie.
• Creating and performing original choreography to a diverse range of popular music.
• Leading classes that are welcoming and engaging for participants of all levels, from beginners to seasoned dancers.
• Completing our comprehensive online Instructor Development Program, which is provided at no cost to you, to ensure you're equipped with the skills and knowledge needed to excel.
• Maintaining a high level of responsiveness and professionalism in your communication, ensuring a seamless experience for our clients and team.

Essential Qualifications and Skills

To succeed in this role, you'll need:

• Proven experience in teaching and choreographing for adults, with a background in dance styles relevant to our pop-music inspired classes.
• A strong dance background, preferably with experience on a dance team, drill team, or cheerleading squad.
• The ability to create and submit original choreography as part of our application process.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a warm, engaging approach to teaching and interacting with clients.
• Reliable transportation to our studio locations in Mansfield and Grand Prairie.
