About the Role
As an Auto Care Center Coach, you will be responsible for leading the Auto Care Center and service area to achieve sales and financial performance goals, while delivering exceptional customer service and maintaining a safe and organized shopping environment. You will be the driving force behind our auto care operations, ensuring that our customers receive the best possible experience and that our associates are equipped to provide top-notch service.
Key Responsibilities
- Drive Sales and Financial Performance:
- Receive and stock merchandise, ensuring effective merchandise presentation and accurate pricing.
- Budget and forecast sales, assessing economic trends and community needs.
- Implement plans to correct any deficiencies and achieve sales and profit goals.
- Deliver Exceptional Customer Service:
- Acknowledge customers, identify their needs, and assist with purchasing decisions.
- Resolve customer issues and concerns, promoting products and services.
- Create and process customer requests and service orders in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Maintain a Safe and Organized Shopping Environment:
- Stock and rotate merchandise, removing damaged or out-of-date goods.
- Set up, clean, and organize product displays, signing and pricing merchandise.
- Secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise, maintaining equipment in accordance with company guidelines.
- Lead and Develop Associates:
- Hire, train, and mentor associates, assigning duties and providing recognition.
- Ensure diversity awareness and promote a culture of inclusion.
- Develop and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, supporting plans and initiatives to meet customer and business needs.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- 2 years of experience in the automotive service or service industry field.
- 1 year of supervisory experience.
- A valid driver's license.
- Ability to attend and successfully complete all job-required trainings and assessments.
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Automotive Certification from Automotive Technical Institute.
- Bachelor of Science in Business Management and Leadership through Live Better U and Bellevue University.
- ASE Certification.
- Experience in automotive service or service industry related field.
- Supervisory experience.
