About the Role: Key Responsibilities

• Drive the adoption of data processing and analytics within the Hadoop ecosystem, and cross-train team members to enhance overall capabilities
• Leverage analytical and problem-solving skills to understand and address complex business questions and challenges
• Guide cross-functional initiatives involving stakeholders across the organization, vendors, and partners
• Develop data marts and insights that provide a comprehensive understanding of our business, driving informed decision-making

Essential Qualifications: The Foundation for Success

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related STEM field
• 3+ years of IT experience in software development, with a focus on programming languages like Java, Python, and Scala
• 2+ years of experience working with Big Data technologies such as PySpark, Hadoop, Hive, HBASE, Kafka, and Nifi
• 2+ years of experience with relational database management systems like MS SQL Server, Prophet, and Teradata
• Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, handling complex problems with data and analytics
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with a natural curiosity and passion for resolving challenges
• Legally authorized to work in India without sponsorship
• Excellent communication skills in English (written and spoken)
• Reliable attendance and punctuality, with a commitment to meeting the demands of the role
