Job Summary
As a remote customer service agent, you will be responsible for communicating with customers in a proactive and professional manner, resolving their inquiries, and providing exceptional service. You will be required to have your own equipment and meet our technical requirements to ensure seamless communication and data processing.
Key Responsibilities:
- Communicate with customers across multiple channels, including phone, chat, and email, in a proactive and professional manner.
- Identify the root cause of customer inquiries by asking probing questions to determine the best solution.
- Schedule appointments for customers and provide them with relevant information.
- Maintain accurate records of customer interactions using our customer relationship management tool.
- Respond to inbound customer inquiries via phone, email, and text while updating internal computer applications and systems.
- Exhibit a positive attitude and bring enthusiasm to work each and every day.
- Demonstrate great attendance and teamwork skills.
Essential Qualifications:
- Excellent interpersonal and verbal skills, clear diction, tone, and knowledge/use of proper grammar.
- Ability to multitask by reading, typing, and navigating through applications while speaking with customers.
- Must be able to communicate effectively with customers, management, and co-workers.
- Strong desire to be helpful and take ownership of resolving customer situations.
- Proven record of great attendance and demonstrating skills as a team player.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 1 year of experience in customer service or a related field.
- Familiarity with customer relationship management tools and software.
- Experience working in a remote or call center environment.
Technical Requirements:
To ensure seamless communication and data processing, you will need to meet the following technical requirements:
- Two screens, can be 2 monitors or 1 monitor and 1 laptop.
- Use of Windows 10 or 11 Home or Pro OS desktop or laptop (No Macs or Chromebooks).
- Hardwired internet connection directly to router- just WiFi is not accepted.
- High Speed Internet: Min. 45 Mbps Download/10 Mbps Upload.
- A working computer camera.
- Use of a USB or Wired headset with volume control & mute function.
Detailed Technical Specifications:
- Operating System / PC: Windows 10 or 11 Home or Professional operating system (no Macs or Chromebooks).
- USB or Wired Headset: Microphone, volume control, and mute functions.
- Camera: Integrated or USB Camera with 1080p resolution or higher.
- Standard Connection / Speed: Must have Hard-wired connection (no wireless), Minimum 45 Mpbs download / Minimum 10 Mpbs upload.
- CPU Speed: Dual Core 1.2 GHz or better, Intel Core i3 or AMD Ryzen 3 or better.
- Hard Drive: 40 GB or more of available space, 100 GB or more of total space.
- Memory: 8 GB or RAM or better is preferable.
- Monitor: 1280 x 1024 (SXGA) screen resolution, 1920 x 1080 (Full HD or 1080p), Dual monitors are required for this program.
- Browser: Latest version of Google Chrome for Windows.
- Maximum Latency Threshold: 120 milliseconds (ms).
