Responsibilities
Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts for multiple companies
Process accounts payable and receivable transactions
Prepare and review financial statements, including balance sheets, income statements, and cash flow statements
Oversee monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes
Ensure compliance with GAAP and other regulatory requirements
Assist with budget preparation and financial forecasting
Monitor financial performance, identifying trends and variances
Collaborate with external auditors during audits
Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard assets
Assist in the preparation of tax returns and regulatory filings
Provide ad-hoc financial analysis and support special projects for the leadership team
Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred but not required
Minimum of 5 years of accounting or bookkeeping experience, preferably in the construction services industry
Experience with owner financial reporting
