We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Fraud Detection Representative to join our remote security operations team. In this role, you’ll be the first line of defense in identifying and preventing fraudulent activity across customer accounts and transactions. Key Responsibilities:
Monitor real-time transactions and account activity to detect potential fraud
Investigate flagged activity using internal tools and data sources
Communicate with customers to verify suspicious transactions or account changes
Escalate high-risk cases to senior fraud analysts or law enforcement when needed
Maintain detailed and accurate case notes for all investigations
Work cross-functionally with customer service and risk teams
Stay updated on emerging fraud trends and prevention techniques
Qualifications:
Must be a resident of the United States
High school diploma or GED required (Associate or Bachelor's degree preferred)
1–2 years of experience in fraud detection, risk analysis, or customer support
Strong analytical and decision-making skills
Ability to work independently in a remote environment
Excellent written and verbal communication
Proficiency with computer systems and fraud monitoring tools
Flexible availability (including weekends or evening shifts, if needed)
