About the Internship

This Intern I Solutions Specialist internship is designed for students who are or were part of an undergraduate or post-graduate degree program and who have or will graduate between May 2023 - August 2025. As a FedEx intern, you'll work on projects directly related to your degree, gaining valuable, real-world experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist with the planning and execution of Corporate Sales initiatives, including analytics, project management, research, and report development.
  • Document processes and procedures, analyze effectiveness, and make recommendations for process improvement.
  • Support the FedEx Solutions team, which consists of three organizations: Customer Solutions, Global Sales Operations (GSO), and Small Business & Enablement.
  • Work closely with the Customer Solutions team on supply chain consultation, solutions design, new customer implementations, and supply chain analysis.
  • Collaborate with the GSO team to support the global sales force with core sales operations systems and processes.
  • Contribute to the Small Business & Enablement team in developing and executing the overall small and medium market strategy.

Essential Qualifications:

To be considered for this internship, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:

  • Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in a relevant field such as Business, Supply Chain, Engineering, Marketing, Project Management, or related majors.
  • A minimum GPA of 3.0.
  • Availability to work 40 hours per week between June and August 2024.
  • A resume that includes your email address, telephone number, name of college/university, degree, major, GPA, and date of intended graduation.

Preferred Qualifications:

While not mandatory, the following skills and experiences will give you a competitive edge:

  • Strong analytical, interpersonal, organizational, and time management skills.
  • Ability to work productively and proactively, both independently and as part of a team.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
  • Knowledge and/or experience utilizing design thinking.
  • Strong presentation skills and project/product management skills.
  • Ability to synthesize large volumes of data (quantitative and qualitative).
  • Knowledge of sales, analytics, business processes, and management practices.
  • Ideal candidates should be graduating within 12 months of completing the internship and be available for full-time employment.
