Key Responsibilities

• Develop and implement personalized learning plans for students with special needs, aligning with their Individualized Education Programs (IEPs).
• Provide one-on-one and small group instruction, adapting teaching strategies to meet the diverse needs of students.
• Collaborate with general education teachers, parents, and other stakeholders to ensure seamless integration of special education services.
• Monitor student progress, adjusting instruction and IEPs as necessary to optimize student outcomes.
• Utilize technology and other resources to enhance teaching and learning, staying up-to-date with best practices in special education.
• Participate in IEP meetings, parent-teacher conferences, and other school events, contributing to a collaborative and student-centered environment.
• Maintain accurate records and reports, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and district policies.

Qualifications and Requirements

Essential Qualifications

• A valid Ohio Intervention Specialist License, demonstrating expertise in special education and compliance with state regulations.
• A bachelor's degree in Special Education or a related field, with a strong foundation in educational theory and practice.
• Proven experience as an Intervention Specialist / Special Education Teacher, with a track record of success in supporting students with diverse needs.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate with students, parents, and colleagues.

Preferred Qualifications
