Key Responsibilities

  • Handle high-severity cases in Japanese during Japanese non-business hours, ensuring prompt response and high-quality service.
  • Assist with English customer cases when there are no high-severity Japanese cases.
  • Take ownership of new cases and escalations via telephone and web, providing support to Enterprise customers and partners.
  • Scope customer issues by collecting relevant facts, investigating problems through research and collaboration with other teams as needed.
  • Consult and collaborate with peers and colleagues around the world, escalating to management as necessary and acting as a customer advocate.
  • Ensure that each support request is handled as per the Service Level Agreement (SLA) and to the highest possible customer satisfaction.
  • Document technical work and research in a detailed and comprehensive manner.
  • Prioritize work to accomplish the most important and urgent requests first, working critical cases as needed on a 24x7 basis or through an on-call model.

Essential Qualifications

To be eligible for this role, you must have:

  • 3 years of overall experience in the field, with a background in technical/product/software support, network operations, IT admin, IT consulting, or customer-facing technical work.
  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology (IT), or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Language qualification: Bilingual (Japanese and English).
  • Cloud computing experience, with knowledge of Azure, Amazon Web Services, or Google Cloud Platform.

Preferred Qualifications

To be considered for this role, you will ideally have:

  • Microsoft Technology Certifications (AZ-900 or equivalent).
  • On-Premise Active Directory experience.
  • Experience working with Microsoft Defender for Office/O365 and Microsoft Purview (Security & Compliance).
