We're seeking a highly skilled Security Software Engineer to join our Strong Vehicles gathering, focused on delivering top-notch cryptographic and secure protocols planning. As a member of this team, you will contribute to the development of security foundations for data protection across Apple's innovative products, including Mac, iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, and Apple TV. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to design and implement secure protocols and systems that meet the highest standards of security and usability.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop secure protocols and systems to protect user data across Apple's products and services
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Silicon Planning, Cloud Services, and other security teams to ensure seamless integration of security features
• Analyze and mitigate security threats and vulnerabilities in Apple's products and services
• Develop and maintain expertise in cryptographic and secure protocols, including TLS, X.509, and other relevant standards
• Work closely with the security architecture team to ensure that security is integrated into the design and development of Apple's products and services
• Participate in code reviews and ensure that security best practices are followed across the organization
• Communicate complex security concepts to non-technical stakeholders and provide technical guidance to junior engineers

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Electrical Engineering, or a related field
