About the Role
As a Data Entry Technician, you will be responsible for accurately inputting data into various IDMS systems, identifying and troubleshooting errors, and verifying entered data for accuracy. You will work closely with our team to ensure that our data is reliable, up-to-date, and compliant with industry standards. This is a remote position with occasional travel required, offering you the flexibility to work from anywhere while still being an integral part of our team.
Key Responsibilities
- Accurately interpret and enter design and inspection data into IDMS software, ensuring data integrity and reliability.
- Identify and troubleshoot errors or anomalies in the data, and implement corrective actions as needed.
- Monitor for variances requiring validation to ensure accuracy and compliance with industry standards.
- Interpret P&ID drawings and perform iso correlation for piping entry, demonstrating your understanding of technical documentation.
- Record UT readings accurately and reflect the correct specifications, showcasing your attention to detail.
- Verify entered data for accuracy through review and correction, ensuring the highest level of data quality.
- Create inspection isometrics in AutoCAD (2D), utilizing your technical skills to produce high-quality outputs.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- Experience with IDMS Software such as PCMS, Meridian, and others, demonstrating your familiarity with industry-specific software.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with our team and clients.
- A high school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundation for your technical skills and knowledge.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to multitask effectively, prioritizing tasks and managing your workload.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Suite, including Excel, Word, and Outlook, to efficiently manage data and communicate with our team.
Preferred Skills And Competencies
While not mandatory, the following skills and competencies are highly valued in a Data Entry Technician:
- Familiarity with various Asset Integrity IDMS software platforms, demonstrating your adaptability and willingness to learn.
