Job Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and passionate Senior Data Engineer to fill a critical role in our team. As a Senior Data Engineer, you will be responsible for designing and executing ETL/ELT data pipelines, developing and implementing database mapping/tables/views, and building batch processes using Apache Airflow for multiple projects. You will collaborate with our Studios or Project Technology teams to gather data requirements, develop and test ETL/ELT data pipelines, design and implement database schema/tables/views, and deploy across multiple environments, including DEV, QA/UAT, and Prod. Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute ETL/ELT data pipelines using Apache Airflow and other technologies
- Develop and implement database mapping/tables/views to support data warehousing and business intelligence initiatives
- Build and deploy batch processes using Apache Airflow to support data processing and workflow automation
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data requirements, develop and test data pipelines, and deploy solutions across multiple environments
- Participate in driving best practices around data engineering and software development processes
- Work with large datasets and big data technologies, preferably cloud-based, such as Snowflake, Databricks, or similar
- Utilize a range of technologies, including SQL, Python, Docker, Gitlab, Airflow, Snowflake, Looker, and PostgreSQL, to support data management and analytics initiatives
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in a Data Engineering role, with a focus on ETL/ELT pipeline development and data warehousing
- 2+ years of experience with SQL and database management systems, including data modeling and database design
- 2+ years of experience with cloud-based technologies, preferably AWS and S3
- Experience working with data lakes, data warehouses, and application databases
- Experience utilizing Apache Airflow, Databricks, and other big data technologies
- Strong programming skills in languages such as Python, Java, or Scala
- Experience with version control systems, such as Gitlab or Github
- Experience with containerization technologies, such as Docker
Preferred Qualifications

- A Master's degree in Computer Science, Mathematics, Engineering, or a related field
- Experience with Airflow, Gitlab, Snowflake, and Scene
- Experience working in the streaming, media, or digital marketing industry
- Strong understanding of data architecture and data governance principles
- Experience with data visualization tools, such as Looker or Tableau
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
