Job Overview

As a CDL Driver Merchandiser, you will play a critical role in delivering and merchandising Coca-Cola products to our customers. You will be responsible for transporting and unloading products, merchandising shelves and displays, and providing exceptional customer service. This is a touch freight position that requires a strong and diverse skillset, including a Class A Commercial Driver's License and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Transports and unloads products to retail outlets, ensuring accurate accounting for all cases and customer transactions
• Merchandises all product inside the outlet to Company standards, including setting up merchandise and sales promotion displays
• Works in partnership with the Sales Supervisor to execute the picture of success, establishing positive relationships with customers and providing superior customer service
• Provides feedback and recommendations to leadership on competitive threats and business opportunities as they arise
• Complies with DOT rules for driving purposes and maintains a safe and clean driving record
• Maintains rapport with customers, communicates any store-level issues to management, and resolves customer complaints in a professional manner
• Ensures proper care of product, equipment, and route settlement daily, including collecting breakage or out-of-date product and empty shells and pallets
• Assists with training, coaching, and succession planning for delivery merchandiser trainees
• Performs other duties as assigned by management, including maintaining backstock in an organized manner and keeping coolers, racks, and shelves clean

Essential Qualifications

• Minimum of 21 years old
• Class A Commercial Driver's License required and obligation to maintain compliance with UNITED fleet policy
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Ability to maintain a neat professional appearance within Company guidelines
• Ability to maintain safety and security of Company assets
• Ability to utilize all Company-provided resources and technology
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repetitively in a fast-paced environment
• High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or 1-3 months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience as a CDL Driver Merchandiser or similar role
• Knowledge of DOT regulations and compliance
• Excellent customer service skills and ability to build strong relationships with customers
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills
