About Lowe's and the Role

As a Central Selling Associate for Flooring, you will be the primary point of contact for customers and internal stakeholders, providing expert guidance and support throughout the sales process. You will work closely with Stores, Service Providers, and other teams to ensure that customer needs are met, and projects are completed efficiently.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage and respond to customer inquiries and service requests related to flooring projects, providing timely and accurate information to ensure customer satisfaction.
- Utilize internal selling and project management systems to obtain and verify information, communicate with stakeholders, and escalate issues as needed.
- Develop and maintain a deep understanding of Lowe's products and services, including flooring options, promotions, and installation processes.
- Collaborate with Stores, Service Providers, and peers to ensure efficient workflow, resolve issues, and drive sales growth.
- Provide feedback to leadership and peers on process improvements, customer experience, and sales performance.
- Demonstrate expertise in customer service, sales, and product knowledge to drive customer loyalty and sales growth.
- Enter, process, and track customer orders and installations to ensure timely completion and follow-up.
- Monitor order status, communicate updates, and resolve issues with customers and internal stakeholders.
Essential Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required; Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred.
- Up to one year of experience in a call center, office administrative, high-volume retail, service support, or similar work environment.
- If required by state or local municipality, a salesperson license or ability to obtain within 60 days of starting employment.
- Reliable internet access with a minimum speed of 20mbps download and 5mbps upload.
- Ability to work in a distraction-free environment and be accessible during scheduled work hours via email, chat, and/or telephone.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in the remodeling or construction industry.
- Lowe's store experience or installed flooring sales experience.
- Familiarity with MS Dynamics or similar CRM tools.
