Key Responsibilities

  • Client Communication: Respond promptly and professionally to client inquiries via phone, email, and chat, ensuring their needs are addressed efficiently and effectively.
  • Issue Resolution: Work independently to identify and resolve client issues, escalating complex cases to senior team members as necessary, and maintain a calm demeanor when addressing client concerns.
  • Database Management: Accurately input and maintain client information in our internal databases, ensuring records are up to date and reflective of current client interactions and service agreements.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including sales, technical support, and logistics, to ensure client requirements are met and expectations exceeded.
  • Administrative Support: Assist in the preparation of reports, documentation, and presentations as needed, and manage scheduling and appointment coordination for client meetings.
  • Feedback Loop: Collect feedback from clients regarding their experiences and communicate insights to the team to help improve our services and offerings.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures and adhere to best practices in managing client information and interactions.
  • Continuous Learning: Stay informed about Corning's products and services, attending training sessions and team meetings to enhance your knowledge and capabilities.

Essential and Preferred Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Education: High school diploma or equivalent required; Associate's degree or relevant coursework in business administration or related field preferred.
  • Experience: No prior experience is necessary; however, customer service experience, even in a volunteer capacity, will be beneficial.
  • Personality Traits: Reliable, consistently dependable, and responsible in managing tasks and following through on commitments; comfortable working autonomously while prioritizing and executing tasks efficiently.
  • Soft Skills: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, able to convey information clearly and understandably; ability to manage time effectively, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines within a fast-paced environment.
  • Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and comfortable using customer relationship management (CRM) software; ability to quickly learn new technologies.
