About the Role: Customer Service and Operations Associate
As a Customer Service and Operations Associate, you will play a vital role in helping our customers consolidate their retirement accounts and ensuring they have a great experience with us. You will be the advocate for our customers, sharing their feedback with our product and engineering teams to inform our product roadmap. You will work directly with all members of the company, collaborating to drive success and growth. Key Responsibilities:
- Guide customers through the Capitalize rollover experience, answering their questions through chat, emails, and phone calls
- Become an expert on 401(k)s, rollovers, and IRAs, staying up-to-date on industry developments and trends
- Communicate with financial institutions and employers on behalf of customers to help with their transactions, where necessary
- Contribute to our internal knowledge base and external FAQs based on customer questions and comments
- Synthesize customer feedback and share with other team members to inform product development and improvement
Essential Qualifications:
- 4+ years of relevant experience in a customer service or client-facing role, preferably in the financial industry
- Experience working with FINRA licenses (e.g., Series 6, 7) is a plus
- Strong interest in helping people achieve their financial goals and a passion for the financial industry
- Familiarity with customer service best practices and tools
- Ability to work flexible hours if necessary to solve customers' problems
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience at a startup or similar fast-paced organization
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and outside the box
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and team members
- Ability to work in a remote environment and collaborate with team members virtually
