Job Summary

We are looking for a part-time Data Entry Clerk to join our team on a remote basis. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for reviewing and inputting data with a high degree of accuracy and speed, working independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities

  • Review syndicated loan notices for manual extraction and data input, ensuring accuracy and attention to detail.
  • Review automated data extraction results, identifying and correcting any discrepancies or errors.
  • Input data with speed and accuracy, meeting strict deadlines and productivity standards.
  • Work independently with minimal supervision, demonstrating self-motivation and organizational skills.
  • Communicate effectively with colleagues and management through email and other digital channels.
  • Analyze data and identify trends or discrepancies, providing insights to support business decisions.
  • Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.

Requirements and Qualifications

Essential Qualifications:

  • 1 year or more of relevant experience in data entry, administration, or a related field.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office 365, including Excel, Word, and Outlook.
  • Experience with data entry software and systems, including online applications.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with attention to detail and organizational abilities.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work independently.
  • Legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience working in a remote or distributed team environment.
  • Familiarity with video conferencing software, such as Microsoft Teams.
  • Knowledge of financial markets, instruments, or related industries.
  • Certifications or training in data entry, administration, or a related field.

Work Schedule and Benefits

Work Schedule:

  • This is a part-time position with core hours between 9:00 a.m. and 6:00 p.m. (CST), although other hours may be required based on business need.
  • Shifts are scheduled in minimum of 4-hour increments, with a minimum of 8 hours expected during peak days (typically 2-3 days per month).
  • The days worked per month are typically 3 to 10 days only.
