Job Highlights and Responsibilities
This role offers a unique opportunity to make a significant impact on the future of our organization by recruiting and developing the next generation of leaders in the home improvement industry. As an Early and Emerging Talent Associate Recruiter, you will be responsible for:
- Partnering with business leaders, HR Business Partners, and line of business recruiters to develop and execute recruitment strategies for early and emerging talent programs
- Identifying and escalating roadblocks to enhance productivity and delivering top talent from diverse candidate pools
- Serving as the main point of contact and advisor for business leaders, line of business recruiters, and HRBPs for all early and emerging talent programs
- Participating in recruiting events, such as university career fairs, military installations, diversity conferences, and other talent acquisition initiatives
- Building and maintaining a network of potential candidates to generate a high-volume, high-quality pipeline of candidates
- Collaborating with internal Talent Acquisition Centers of Excellence and Shared Service teams to develop sourcing strategies and increase brand recognition
- Conducting proactive needs analysis with hiring managers to establish execution plans for high-volume hiring during peak business demands
- Evaluating candidate profiles, resumes, and success profiles, and representing the company to candidates throughout the hiring process
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- High school diploma or equivalent
- 1-2 years of experience in project coordination or proven ability to effectively manage multiple competing tasks
- 3-5 years of experience in Talent Acquisition, Talent Management, HR, or other relevant experience (sales, operational, leadership) or Lowe's internal Talent Acquisition experience
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications are preferred:
- Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or other relevant field
- 1-2 years of experience with behavioral interviewing
- Experience with Microsoft tools and applications
- Experience with the Military Community (Veteran and Military Spouses)
