GRC Analyst/Tech Writer
About the position
Responsibilities
• Review existing policies and standards, identify documentation gaps related to regulatory requirements, and suggest updates to ensure compliance.
• Work with SMEs throughout IT to create procedure documentation where it doesn't exist.
• Interview subject matter experts to gather information and documentation requirements for the final deliverable.
• Produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards and is appropriate for the intended target audience(s).
• Develop, initiate, and manage review processes and information architecture for final deliverables.
• Analyze existing and potential content; providing ideas on how to improve internal communications, as well as focusing on streamlining, including how we format and present documentation.
• Develop and manage a perpetual updating and publishing schedule to ensure that all documented materials are current and up to date.
Requirements
• Experience in GRC (Governance, Risk, and Compliance) analysis and technical writing.
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements and compliance standards in the financial services industry.
• Proven ability to produce high-quality documentation that meets applicable standards.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to interview SMEs effectively.
• Experience in developing and managing documentation processes and information architecture.
Nice-to-haves
• Familiarity with security policies and standards in the financial services sector.
• Experience with documentation tools and software.
• Knowledge of regulatory exam processes and requirements.
