Key Responsibilities:
- Handle a high volume of inbound calls from healthcare members and providers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
- Simultaneously answer calls and type information into our computer system, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry.
- Utilize web camera visibility to communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent service.
- Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team goals and objectives.
- Adhere to established procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications:
Essential Qualifications:
- High school diploma or equivalent required.
- 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
- Basic knowledge of personal computers and software applications.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications:
- 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare or insurance setting.
- Experience with healthcare operations and terminology.
- Minimum typing speed of 30-35 words per minute.
- Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment.
