Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle a high volume of inbound calls from healthcare members and providers, responding to their inquiries and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner.
  • Simultaneously answer calls and type information into our computer system, ensuring accurate and efficient data entry.
  • Utilize web camera visibility to communicate effectively with customers and provide excellent service.
  • Collaborate with colleagues and management to achieve team goals and objectives.
  • Adhere to established procedures and protocols to ensure consistency and quality in service delivery.

Requirements and Qualifications:

Essential Qualifications:

  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • 1-2 years of customer service experience, preferably in a call center environment.
  • Basic knowledge of personal computers and software applications.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to think critically.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of customer service experience in a healthcare or insurance setting.
  • Experience with healthcare operations and terminology.
  • Minimum typing speed of 30-35 words per minute.
  • Previous experience working in a remote or home-based environment.
