Key Responsibilities:

  • Market Analysis and Insights: Develop a deep understanding of the marketplace segment, including seasonality, global trends, and competitor activities. Monitor and analyze market developments to inform strategic decisions.
  • Seller Acquisition and Development: Identify, prospect, and onboard high-potential sellers to our platform through direct sales visits, events, and presentations. Build strong relationships with sellers and provide guidance on best practices for online selling.
  • Seller Enablement and Support: Share data-driven insights with sellers to help them achieve high standards of delivery, customer satisfaction, and business objectives. Collaborate with internal stakeholders to resolve vendor issues and optimize the selling experience.
  • Strategic Planning and Execution: Develop and execute go-to-market strategies to attract key marketplace players and maximize our product selection and customer base. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and competitor activity to inform strategic decisions.
  • Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track key performance indicators, including sales growth, customer satisfaction, and seller engagement. Provide regular updates and insights to stakeholders on market trends and competitor activity.

Primary Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's Degree: A bachelor's degree in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or economics, is required.
  • Sales Experience: 1-3 years of successful business-to-business sales experience, preferably in ecommerce, technology, retail, or FMCG industries.
  • Consultative Sales Skills: Demonstrated achievement in exceeding sales objectives using consultative and solutions-focused processes.
  • Communication and Presentation Skills: Advanced conversation and presentation abilities, with a strong working understanding of Excel and MS Office programs.
  • Analytical and Quantitative Skills: Advanced analytical abilities and quantitative skills, with the ability to thrive in an ambiguous environment and be enthusiastic about success and winning.
  • Commercial Enterprise Judgment: Remarkable commercial enterprise judgment with strong written and oral communication talents.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Ecommerce Experience: 2+ years of ecommerce experience is a plus.
  • Consumer Electronics Experience: 3+ years of experience in the consumer electronics sector is a plus.
  • Direct Sales Experience: 3+ years of direct sales experience is a plus.
