**Job Summary**
As a Part-time Data Entry Specialist (Remote) with blithequark, you will be responsible for accurately and efficiently entering data into internal and external systems, updating client information, and maintaining the integrity of client taxes. This is a 3-4 month contract opportunity, with the possibility of extension or conversion to a permanent position. We offer a competitive hourly rate of $16 to $21, depending on experience, and a flexible schedule that allows you to work from home or in our office.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Enter data into internal and external systems, including client employee payroll information and personal employee information, in a timely and accurate manner.
* Update client or company level information changes, such as delivery addresses, contact information, and State Unemployment Insurance rate changes.
* Maintain accurate account information and ensure the integrity of client taxes.
* Work closely with clients to resolve any data entry issues or discrepancies.
* Meet productivity and quality standards, as set by blithequark and our clients.
**Essential Qualifications**
* High School Diploma or equivalent required.
* At least 1 year of Data Entry experience.
* Basic Excel experience and computer knowledge.
* Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
* Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
**Preferred Qualifications**
* 1 year of experience with Microsoft Excel.
* Experience working with databases and data entry software.
* Familiarity with payroll processing and tax regulations.
* Certification in data entry or a related field.
