Key Responsibilities

  • Lead the launch of new hardware products into the retail channel, developing and executing product positioning and pricing strategies that drive sales and revenue growth.
  • Manage, track, and report on retail readiness, ensuring that Google's products are effectively merchandised and promoted across key retail partners.
  • Develop and manage promotional and pricing strategies, including budget planning and allocation, to drive business performance and achieve sales targets.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and business performance, providing actionable insights that inform strategic decision-making and drive business optimization.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with key retail partners, collaborating on joint business planning, promotional activities, and retail activations that drive mutual growth and success.
  • Develop and execute end-of-life and product transition strategies, ensuring a smooth and profitable product lifecycle.
  • Support the development and delivery of product presentations to retail and external partners, showcasing Google's latest innovations and capabilities.

Essential Qualifications

  • A four-year degree or equivalent practical experience in a relevant field, such as business, marketing, or sales.
  • A minimum of 4 years of experience in deal management, business development, business analysis, or partner management within a web, software platform, consumer devices company, or retailer.
  • A proven track record of driving business growth and innovation in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to distill complex data into actionable insights and compelling stories.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working in an equipment company or retailer in account management, buying, go-to-market, channel management, or channel marketing.
  • A background in promoting and selling consumer devices to retailers or working within a retail organization.
  • The ability to think strategically and tactically, with a focus on both short-term execution and long-term growth.
  • A proven ability to design and manage at both the strategic and operational levels, including successfully launching new products into the market.
