About the Role
This is a unique opportunity to lead the post-implementation phase of their new finance system, Unit4 ERPx, and drive continuous improvement to maximize the benefits of the Finance team. As the Head of Transformation, you will be instrumental in shaping the future of financial management at Alzheimer's Society, ensuring effective financial control environments, and promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead finance transformation and process improvement activities across the finance directorate, driving forward continuous improvement and delivering key improvements.
 - Manage the post-implementation phase of Unit4 ERPx, embedding new processes and transitioning to a steady state.
 - Drive best practice financial management and process efficiency, ensuring consistency and effectiveness across the Finance team.
 - Maintain an effective financial control environment, adopting a mindset of continuous improvement to strengthen controls and operational effectiveness.
 - Collaborate with operational teams, stakeholders, and external partners to achieve finance transformation goals.
 - Develop and implement strategies to promote a culture of continuous improvement within the Finance team.
 
Essential Qualifications and Experience
To succeed in this role, you will need:
- A relevant financial accounting professional qualification (ACA, ACCA, CIPFA, ACMA, or equivalent) with post-qualification experience operating at a senior level.
 - Proven experience of managing successful projects and working with operational teams.
 - Experience of systems implementation and post-implementation embedding of new processes.
 - A track record of driving continuous improvement of financial processes and promoting a culture to support this in a large organization.
 - Experience leading teams in operating effective financial control environments.
 
Preferred Qualifications and Experience
To stand out from the crowd, you will ideally have:
- Experience with Unit4 ERPx or other ERP Finance Systems, particularly post-implementation.
 - A strong understanding of financial management best practices and process efficiency.
 - Excellent IT skills, with extensive experience using Microsoft packages.

This is a homeworking role, but you may be required to travel to attend meetings, events, and team-days. You must reside in the UK, have the correct right to work documents, and be comfortable traveling to their offices in London or Birmingham.
