About the Position: Licensed Customer Service Representative (LCSR)
As a Licensed Customer Service Representative (LCSR), you'll play a vital role in educating customers about our pet insurance plans, understanding their unique needs, and recommending the most suitable coverage options. This remote role requires you to be based in either Florida, Texas, or Arizona, and be comfortable working from home with a high level of autonomy. As an LCSR, you'll be the face of our organization, providing a world-class customer experience that sets us apart from the competition.
Key Responsibilities: Driving Customer Success through Expertise and Empathy
- Develop a deep understanding of our pet health insurance plans, including key features and options, to provide expert recommendations to pet parents.
- Leverage our internal and external technologies to deliver a seamless and consistent customer experience.
- Respond to inbound inquiries and initiate outbound follow-ups with potential customers, providing detailed information about our policies and coverage options.
- Employ a consultative approach to identify customer needs, recommend suitable insurance plans, and facilitate enrollment.
- Maintain control and guide conversations towards successful enrollment using our enrollment-based framework.
- Effectively communicate the value proposition of our pet insurance policies, highlighting the benefits and addressing customer concerns.
- Utilize assumptive closing techniques to confidently guide customers through the enrollment process.
- Accurately enroll pets in policies, ensuring all necessary information is collected and documented.
- Meet and exceed enrollment targets and objectives, driving business growth and customer satisfaction.
- Apply creativity and critical thinking to research, problem-solve, and resolve customer issues.
- Consistently demonstrate empathy, active listening, and kindness to customers and team members, fostering a positive and supportive work environment.
Essential Qualifications: The Ideal Candidate Profile
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- 2+ years of experience in a customer service conversion-based role, preferably within the insurance industry.
- A proven track record of meeting and exceeding conversion targets, demonstrating your ability to drive results.
- Strong consultative conversion skills, with the ability to identify customer needs and recommend suitable solutions.
- A Property & Casualty Insurance license in your home state, which you'll be required to maintain.
- Excellent communication skills, with a customer-centric approach and the ability to actively listen and provide solutions.

- Proficiency in basic computer applications and data entry, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
