About the Role: Lead Java AWS Developer
We're seeking an experienced Lead Java AWS Developer to join our team in a hybrid position based in Arizona. As a Lead Java AWS Developer, you will play a critical role in designing, developing, and maintaining scalable and resilient applications on AWS infrastructure. You will also be responsible for implementing and managing CI/CD pipelines, leveraging Java programming language, and utilizing various AWS services to architect and deploy applications.
Key Responsibilities:
- Cloud Application Development: Design, develop, and maintain scalable and resilient applications on AWS infrastructure, ensuring high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.
- CI/CD Pipeline Management: Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines to automate the software delivery process, ensuring efficient and reliable deployment of applications.
- Java Programming: Utilize Java programming language to build high-quality solutions that meet business requirements, leveraging best practices and design patterns.
- AWS Services: Leverage AWS services such as Step Functions, S3, Lambda, and CloudFormation to architect and deploy applications, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Containerize applications using Docker and orchestrate containers using Kubernetes, ensuring efficient and scalable deployment.
- Infrastructure as Code: Write infrastructure as code (IaC) using tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation, ensuring consistent and reproducible infrastructure deployment.
- Production Environment Management: Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize production environments to ensure maximum uptime and performance, leveraging monitoring and logging tools.
What We're Looking For:
Essential Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Java Development Experience: 10+ years of experience in Java development, with a strong understanding of Java programming language and best practices.
- AWS Cloud Experience: 2+ years of experience in AWS cloud-native applications, with a strong understanding of AWS services and architectures.
- DevOps Practices: Strong understanding of DevOps practices, including CI/CD, configuration management, and infrastructure automation.
- Containerization and Orchestration: Hands-on experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes.
- Monitoring and Logging: Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools such as CloudWatch, New Relic, and ELK stack.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with Serverless Computing: Experience with serverless computing and microservices architectures.
- Familiarity with Agile Methodologies: Familiarity with agile methodologies and development practices.
- Excellent Problem-Solving Skills: Excellent problem-solving skills, teamwork, and communication abilities.

Compensation and Benefits:
